New 2773 series terminals for in-line splicing of solid cables
With the 2773 series terminals, you can quickly and tool-free connect cables with cross-sections from 0.75 to 4 mm² even in the tightest spaces.
Simply strip the end of the cable and insert it into the connector without any tools – a reliable connection is ready!
Advantages:
- simple and fast repair of damaged wires;
- tool-free plug-in installation of solid and stranded conductors;
- splicing individual wires in the smallest spaces thanks to the extremely compact connector design, only 29 mm long.
Use in a junction box
Cable too short? Luckily, there are 2773 Inline in-line connectors for solid conductors! Extending a cable with a cross-section from 0.75 to 4 mm² takes only a moment and requires no tools. Thanks to its minimal dimensions (only 29 mm in length), the in-line connector fits easily into any junction box. This makes it easy to complete wiring work even in confined spaces.

Repairing a cable in a wall
In the rush of everyday work, it sometimes happens that a cable is drilled through inside a wall. In such cases, the best solution is to use Inline connectors for solid conductors. Repairing a damaged cable is easy and can be done in just moments, even with an external heat-shrink tube. Simply slide it onto the cable and shrink the sleeve. As a result, you will get a reliable and safe cable connection.

In hard-to-reach places
Modern construction places high demands on electrical installations, especially when it comes to convenience, safety, reliability, and flexibility. Cable connections located in hard-to-reach places, for example in concealed junction boxes, often pose a challenge for installers. In such cases, regular inspection, maintenance, or repair is impossible. Therefore, all connections in hard-to-reach places must be made permanently, without the possibility of modification. For this reason, only soldered, crimped, or socket-type connections were permitted in such locations, and they were complex, time-consuming, and prone to errors.
The DIN VDE 0100-520:2013-06 standard, in force since 2013, states that connecting elements that comply with current product standards may also be used in locations that become inaccessible after installation. All WAGO installation terminals meet the requirements of this standard, including the 2773 series Inline in-line connectors for solid conductors.
