The most intuitive connection methods from WAGO

TOPJOB®S DIN-rail terminal blocks are available with levers. Pull the lever up, insert the conductor, and push the lever back down – a brilliantly simple connection technology that made the WAGO 221 series junction box connector a popular universal solution is now ready for DIN-rail mounting as the latest variant of the reliable TOPJOB S WAGO® rail-mounted terminal block family.

This means that even in a control cabinet, conductors can now be easily connected and disconnected by hand without tools. Users benefit from simple and intuitive operation, especially when wiring in the field – the connection point is clearly indicated by the open lever, reducing the risk of missing connection points due to incorrect wiring. In addition, both hands remain free for routing the conductor, since the clamping unit does not need to be held open with a tool. This convenience makes it easier to connect large cross-section conductors that are
difficult to bend.
Lever-operated DIN-rail terminals are suitable for all types of wires: solid, stranded, and fine-stranded. Like the proven TOPJOB®S DIN-rail terminal blocks with operating slots, the new lever versions are equipped with push-in connection technology.
This allows the levers to remain closed and also enables the connection of fine-stranded wires with gas-tight crimped ferrules with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² (18 AWG) in addition to solid conductors. Thanks to the side conductor entry, lever-operated DIN-rail terminals make it easy to connect even large, stiff conductors that are difficult to bend.
For the first time, WAGO offers lever-operated DIN-rail terminals in nominal cross-sections of 2.5 mm² (14 AWG), 6 mm² (10 AWG), and 16 mm² (8 AWG) – primarily for supply conductors and the most common conductor cross-sections. These terminal blocks are available in 2- or 3-conductor versions. On the field side of the WAGO DIN-rail-mounted terminal block there is a lever; for internal wiring, a push button or an operating slot is available.
In the future, the lever connection will be extended to other products in the TOPJOB®S DIN-rail terminal block family.
