Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismating

The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly rated current 20 A provides the foundation for assembly of solid and fine-stranded conductors. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to an enormous variety of requirements in seconds. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding in blue are above all suitable for intelligent, for example for the dimming function of DALI lights. Important parameters in the selection of a pluggable installation connector are the rated current and voltage: They tell us about the product's domains of use. This product has a current rating of 20 A – as a result it is also suitable for powerful loads. Our WINSTA® MIDI product line offers flexibility for the electrical installation. Through its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it ensures time-saving, error-free installation and offers customization and flexibility for meeting various installation requirements. This product meets all the fire protection requirements of fire class D; thus it can be used in domains where fire safety is relevant. The cable assembly is halogen-free. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also increases the fire class, since halogen-free materials do not easily ignite.
