OPC Unified Architecture allows you to exchange data securely between different devices. OPC UA is a manufacturer-independent communication protocol that defines semantic annotation in addition to data transmission.
The WAGO OPC UA Client allows data from an OPC UA Server to be included in the IEC application. The interface to your application is a function block library, which is implemented according to PLCopen.
To use the OPC UA Client, it is necessary to license the device.
